Denman Rooke is an illustrator, art director, and concept artist in games. He works primarily in video games as an art director & concept artist, and currently illustrates for Magic: the Gathering and Dungeons & Dragons.

As a professional artist in games since 2007, he has been bound to expensive programs like Adobe's Photoshop or Autodesk Maya for years. In an attempt to highlight the advancement of open source software over the years, he'll be using his stream at live.denmanrooke.com to highlight that great FOSS applications for art & games creation can be used at a professional level.

As I've decided to avoid proprietary software, corporate owned, advertising riddled, and data scraping services like Twitch (Amazon) & Youtube (Google), your donations go to help pay for cloud hosting for Owncast streaming as well as supporting my PeerTube instance admin's costs for hosting my VODs at MakerTube.net. Every month, all excess donations after paying my own running costs will be given directly to the open source projects I use.
